Exhibitnia Project

Japanese Art Support × Social Contribution Project

“Experience and support Japanese art—from anywhere, at any time.”

This page introduces how you can join our project and support Japanese artists through social virtual exhibitions.

What Is Exhibitnia?

Exhibitnia is a nonprofit service that provides free SNS-based virtual gallery support to artists who lack physical exhibition opportunities. We use the cluster metaverse platform to host virtual solo exhibitions, allowing visitors to explore art freely and engage with creators.

Through the Japanese Art Support × Social Contribution Project, we connect artists with supporters who believe in the power of art to make a social impact.

Support Artists, Support Society

Your support helps us:

  • Host exhibitions for Japanese artists at no cost to them
  • Donate proceeds—excluding minimal operating costs—to humanitarian organizations (e.g., Doctors Without Borders)
  • Share the beauty of Japanese art globally
  • Feature your messages of encouragement in the gallery space

How Your Support Is Used

All contributions go toward:

  • Maintaining our servers, website, and virtual venues
  • Promotional efforts (social media, flyers, etc.)
  • Donations to social contribution organizations, with full transparency

Support is available from:

  • STORES (¥100 per unit)
  • Ko-fi (from $1 per unit)
  • Anonymous support is also welcome.
  • Send a message with your support, and we’ll display it in the virtual gallery.

Past Exhibitions

We’ve hosted solo exhibitions by talented Japanese artists, some in parallel with real-world galleries. Examples include:

  • Wataru Tamura Exhibition
  • Hiroko Moro “Field Notes”
  • Sachiko Iwai “Travel & Zakka Returns”
  • Haru Komachi “Hibi Maimai”

For Artists

Why Join the Project?

Exhibitnia helps you exhibit your art for free in a virtual gallery space. If you choose, your exhibition can join our social contribution project—adding a new layer of meaning and connection to your work.

We aim for a transparent, respectful environment where your rights are protected, and your message can reach the world.

FAQ

Is it free to exhibit?
Yes. Artists can apply and exhibit at no cost.

Do I have to join the social contribution project?
Not at all. You can exhibit independently or join the project—your choice.

Do artists retain copyright?
Absolutely. You keep full ownership. We only display what you permit.

Can Exhibitnia help with my own art project?
We’d love to! We’re open to collaborations and are happy to support your goals.
